A Dereham man has been jailed for more than two years for drugs offences.

26 year old Mark Moulton, of Norwich Street, was caught with drugs, cash and several mobile phones when he was stopped by police on Victoria Road in Diss in May 2020.

Police recovered more cash and drugs upon searching his home.

Moulton was arrested again the next month on Stanley Road in Diss and was again found to be carrying drugs.

He pleaded guilty to five charges of being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs.

At Norwich Crown Court last Thursday (January 20) he was handed a total of 27 months behind bars.

DC Steve Donovan, of Norfolk Police, said:

“Moulton made money from selling class A and B drugs within Diss, which we know is often linked to other acquisitive crime, which has a negative impact on the local community.

“Following a thorough investigation, this strong case resulted in a guilty plea, which will see Moulton behind bars for a considerable amount of time."
