Man charged with drugs offences after arrest in Cromer

A 20 year old man has been charged with drugs offences after being stopped by police in Cromer.

He was pulled over along Cross Strret on Friday afternoon (August 19), with police finding small quantities of drugs and three mobile phones in the vehicle.

Further Class A and Class B drugs were located at the man's home address.

A 36 year old man, who was a passenger in the car, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine but has now been released under investigation.

20-year-old Micheal Murphy of Cabbell Road, Cromer, has been charged with dealing Class A and B drugs, possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, resisting arrest and obstructing police.

He appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court yesterday and has been remanded in custody.
