National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine is performing in Norwich tonight

In their 15=stop UK tour they've performed in Birmingham, Liverpool and London

National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine is performing at Norwich Theatre Royal, today- in the final leg of their 15-stop UK tour

Which has seen them perform in Birmingham, Liverpool and London. After they resumed rehearsing and performing since Russia's invasion in February 2021.

Roman Oleksiienko is their managing director and plays the trumpet

"My wife, children and parents are back home in Ukraine. I am afraid when the air-raid siren sound, as when I'm here- I can't help them.

"We have been to so many great cities and halls. I was so excited after Bridgewater Hall in Manchester and Symphony Hall in Birmingham. Along with Cadogan Hall in London, one of the most famous in the world.

"There are always a lot of Ukrainian people who come to watch us. After the concert they come to us and thank us. They are happy to listen to Ukrainian music"
