Police have launched a renewed appeal for information after a murder in King's Lynn over the Easter weekend.

Emergnecy Services were called to Highgate at around 12:30am on Saturday April 16.

A woman in her 50s, since identified as Dace Kalkerte, was found with serious injuries. She later passed away as a result of stab wounds.

Birute Klicneliene, age 50, of Sir Lewis Street, King’s Lynn, appeared at Norwich Crown Court earlier charged with murder.

A trial date has been set for October 17.

Two men, in their 40s and 50s, have been released without charge.

Police are continuing their appeal for information as a cordon remains in place at the scene.

Police are looking for anyone who was in this area surrounding Highgate late on Friday or early Saturday

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Chris Burgess said:

“As part of the ongoing investigation, we have been able to recover CCTV footage from the area close to the scene.

We would ask anyone who was in the vicinity of Highgate, Morrisons, Wyatt Street, The Walks and Seven Sister/Hospital Walk in King’s Lynn between 10pm on Friday 15 April and 1am on Saturday 16 April to come forward and speak to police.

We would also like to ask anyone who has yet to come forward and who may have information to assist the enquiry to contact us.”
