Police name man and woman found dead at house in Cromer

Police have named a couple who were found dead in Cromer on Monday night.

Alexander and Helen Lawrie, who were both 83, were found unresponsive at a property in The Warren at around 7:18pm.

A Home Office post mortem found Helen died from a head injury, Alexander from injuries to his leg.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Chris Burgess of Norfolk Police said:

“We are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing.

"A police cordon remains at the scene pending further forensic work.

"Police aren't seeking anyone else in connection with the deaths."
