A teenager has appeared in court in connection with a stabbing in Norwich.

It follows an incident where another teenager suffered serious injuries at Aylmer Tower in Lefroy Road on 23 February.

Police were called at 3.15pm following reports the victim had been attacked with a bladed weapon by a group of people.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named due to his age, appeared at Norwich Magistrate's Court today (18 March) charged with grievous bodily harm, two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, and money laundering.

He will join two 18-year-old men and two other teens at Norwich Crown Court on 25 March.

Two others, who were on police bail, have been released with no further action.
