Two arrested over Norwich fight released on bail

Two men questioned by police in connection with a fight on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich have been released on bail.

The men, both aged 18, were arrested following a disturbance in the early hours of yesterday morning (11 August).

Police were called to the area, close the junction of Cathedral Street, at about 2.50am following reports that up to 20 people were involved in a fight.

Three people suffered minor knife wounds and were taken to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to Police Investigation Centres in Great Yarmouth and Wymondham for questioning.

They have been released on bail until 8 September while enquiries continue.
