Two pensioners left with serious injuries following Cawston crash

Police are now urging anyone who saw the collision, to get in touch.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Cawston.

The incident occurred on Monday 22 April 2024 on the B1145 Cawston Road at 12.25pm when a grey MG4 collided with a black Volvo XC90.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including ambulance, air ambulance and fire.

The driver of the MG4, a man aged in his 80s, and the passenger, a woman aged in her 70s, were taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have any relevant dashcam footage. Anyone with any information is asked to get in contact via the following channels quoting reference NC-22042024-192
