A yellow weather warning of snow has been issued for the East of England from the Met Office.

The warning is in place from 3am until 23:59pm today (24th January).

The snow could bring travel disruption to our region and icy road conditions.

Police across the East have been warning drivers about what to expect on routes across the county.

What can we expect?

We may see possible travel delays on roads and cancellations to rail travel.

Some rural communities may also be cut off, if the snowfall is heavy.

Power cuts may also occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected.

Tomorrow (25th January) there is also a yellow weather warning of ice in place from midnight until 11am.
