Four people arrested following altercation in Southway

One man has been injured and four people have been arrested in Plymouth following an altercation.

Police were called to Southway this morning (25 June).

A 35-year-old man was found with a suspected head injury, but it's not thought to be life-threatening or changing.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"Police were called to Kinniard Crescent, Southway, at around 4.30am today following reports of an altercation.

"A 35-year-old man was located at the scene with a suspected head injury. He was taken to hospital to be assessed and the injuries were not deemed life-threatening or changing.

"A 31-year-old man from Plymouth, a 39-year-old man from London, a 27-year-old woman from Ivybridge and a 24-year-old woman from Plymouth have been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. They remain in police custody at this time.

"Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
