Man injured in Salcombe crash

He suffered leg injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured in a crash in Salcombe.

It happened on Friday afternoon (16 April) between a grey Audi car and a pedestrian.

He has been taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision in Cliff Road, Salcombe, at about 1.30pm, on Friday 16 April.

"As a result of the collision between a grey Audi car and a pedestrian, a man in his 50s from the West Midlands, sustained leg injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment."
