Two teenagers arrested in connection with suspected stabbing in Central Park

Two teenagers have been arrested and later bailed, in connection to a suspected stabbing in Central Park, Plymouth on Friday (8 January).

A 17-year-old boy from Plymouth was treated in hospital for multiple stab wounds following the incident which occurred sometime between 8pm and 9pm.

He has since been discharged from hospital. A 17-year-old victim was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds, but has since been discharged.

Police believe the incident involved two groups of youths who were known to each other.

People are urged to contact police directly to report incidents, rather than posting on social media, so there is no miscommunication regarding people's involvement.

Police officers would also like to urge people who video incidents to share them directly with police, not share them on social media platforms.

A 17-year-old boy from Plympton has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and possessing a suspected Class B drug, cannabis, and has been bailed until 5 February.

A 17-year-old boy from Stoke, has also been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has also been bailed until 5 February.
