A man's been assaulted in Oakham
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward

A man's reportedly been assaulted in Oakham earlier today and two men have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Officers were called out around 2 o clock this morning - to find a man in High Street with head injuries. He's been taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition
Two 18-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent with one of them also being arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. They both remain in police custody.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have been out in the area at this time and witnessed the assault or the circumstances leading up to it to get in touch.
