Fatal car collision in Stamford leaves two dead

Police are asking for witnesses and dash cam footage of the incident

Two people have died following a single-car collision near Stamford on Sunday (3rd July) afternoon.

Lincolnshire Police say officers received reports of a white Mercedes A180 that had collided with a tree when travelling down Carlby Road in Braceborough.

A 77-year-old woman who was driving the vehicle sadly died at the scene, while an 80-year-old man who was the passenger was taken to hospital but did not survive his serious injuries.

Police are keen to hear from witnesses, and would like anyone with dashcam footage or further information on the incident to contact them using the details below.
