It's feared people are being put at risk across Lincolnshire because first responders can't get fuel.

LIVES is now urging people to only use fuel if they need it, as many of their volunteers don't have enough to attend life-saving incidents.

Gemma Shaw is from LIVES, she said many of their first aiders are having to make the difficult decision to stop attending critical incidents.

"He had a full tank on Saturday and after attending 4 jobs, sadly he couldn't log-on on Sunday to attend anymore medical emergencies due to the fact he had to reserve his fuel to go to work

"Another had to make the choice between logging on as a responder and coming to work. He lives over in Skegness, so his journey to Lincoln will eat his fuel today."

"As much as everybody has a need themselves to get fuel, this really does mean that when you need us most we can't be there.

"Minutes matter when somebody's in cardiac arrest or there's been a road traffic collision."
