Former England cricketer, and ex-Oakham student Stuart Broad has been made a CBE at a ceremony at Windsor Castle.

The 37-year-old, who retired in July as England's second-highest wicket-taker, was named in the King's New Year's honours list.

He's received the title for 'services to cricket' and was also appointed an MBE in the 2016 Birthday Honours.

Anne, the Princess Royal, presented Broad with the honour during the investiture ceremony yesterday (Tuesday 23rd).

Others honours included Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis, who was knighted for services to music and charity.
