10 Places to Visit in Salisbury!

Autumn is the most colourful of our seasons so the perfect time to get out and enjoy some great family days out. Here’s some of our favourites to wrap up warm and enjoy!

Salisbury Cathedral and Magna Carta

Salisbury Cathedral is much more than a historical monument, it’s the Cathedral Church of the Salisbury diocese and the Mother Church of several hundred parishes in Wiltshire and Dorset. It is also a centre of pilgrimage for hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Salisbury Cathedral’s Magna Carta is the best preserved of only four surviving original exemplars.

The Boscombe Down Aviation Collection is located at Old Sarum Airfield in Wiltshire. The museum tells the history of Boscombe Down and explains the place it has in the history of flight and flight test. They’ve made a few changes to the way they operate in order to keep everyone as safe as possible due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
