A new takeaway restaurant will open in Amesbury in a matter of days.

Taco Bell will start serving customers Mexican food from their branch in Solstice Park from next Monday (21st November).

The drive thru outlet, with some seating inside, is a newly built unit, which got planning permission from Wiltshire Council back in the Spring.

The signage has been up outside for some weeks, with the screens for ordering have also been up and switched on for a while.

It also sites within an area that's busy with lots of other food outlets, sitting next door to Greggs, KFC and Pizza Hut, and opposite McDonalds, Costa and Toby Carvery.

What is Taco Bell?

Taco Bell is an American-based food chain, which opened it's first restaurant in 1962 in California.

They have since expanded to the UK and in Europe, with nearly 100 venues open across the UK so far.

They mostly sell Mexican style food, for example burritos and, as it says in the name, tacos.

There is currently one open in Wiltshire, on Regent Street in Swindon, with others in Southampton and Basingstoke.
