Man assaulted on Salisbury's Fisherton Street

A suspect also shouted racist abuse at passers-by

A man's been assaulted in Salisbury, following a verbal altercation on Fisherton Street.

The victim was attacked near to the railway bridge at around 7.10pm on Sunday 4th September.

A suspect is also reported to have shouted racist abuse at members of the public walking past.

He's described as:

  • White
  • Aged in his early 40s
  • Around 5ft 7ins tall
  • Bald
  • Wearing blue jeans
  • No top

A man was arrested by officers attending the scene shortly afterwards.

Police are now keen to speak to anyone who might have seen what happened that night.
