Babies and Toddlers between the ages of 6 weeks to 4 years took part in a swimming fundraising event in Salisbury to help raise money for the Stars Appeal.

Turtle Tots ran this event through various pools across Salisbury, West Dorset and Hampshire, by encouraging pupils to dress up and take part in a variety of themed activities.

The overall fundraising total was £4,746.02 with the money going to the Stars Appeal charity, towards the Neonatal Unit at Salisbury District Hospital.

Becky Eakins, Partner at Turtle Tots said:

“We ran a series of swimming fundraising events with babies and toddlers from 6 weeks to 4 years in various pools across Salisbury, West Dorset and Hampshire. Customers were encouraged to dress up and take part in a variety of activities such as chasing the comet, blasting off through the rings of Saturn and a big step off the moon in a Space and Stars themed lesson.

“Supporting the Stars Appeal and specifically the neonatal ward means our grateful customers can pay something back. Many owe the welfare of their child to the lifesaving care given by Salisbury District Hospital.”
