Officers are investigating a burglary at the Amesbury Green Fingers Community Garden in Stockport Avenue allotments.

Two sheds were damaged and several tools stolen.

The break-in happened overnight between 6pm on Monday 13 June and 2pm on Tuesday 14 June.

The Amesbury Green Fingers Group and its members have only been operating there for just over a year.

Wiltshire Police is appealing for information:

"We would like to hear from anyone who has any information in relation to the incident, including anyone who was in the area overnight or may have dash cam or CCTV footage which could help our enquiries."

You can contact police on 101, quoting reference number 54220061517, or you call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The force is also urging allotment users and shed owners to remove any valuables or power tools and to secure buildings when not in use.
