Salisbury gets into festive spirit with 'Christmas Begins' event today
Market Place focus as Christmas 2022 gets underway
The festive season gets underway in Salisbury later with an event in the Market Place although there will be no traditional lights switch-on.
Instead, the lights will be turned on gradually, with no specific time given.
From 1pm there will be entertainment from Disco Dion and school choirs.
There will be festive stalls, food and drink vendors and children's fair rides too whilst the popular Frost Bar is back.
Real reindeer and The Grinch will make an appearance at 4pm with popular band The Deloreans taking to the stage at 6pm.
