Salisbury cafe closes after 11 years of trading
Owners say it was not an easy decision

A coffeehouse and restaurant in Salisbury has closed its doors for the last time after 11 years in the city.
Greengages, on Catherine Street, announced on Friday (26th August) that they would be entering administration.
On their Facebook page they blame the current trading situation, recovery from covid and other factors.
In the post they said it's not a decision that was made easily but they could not continue to support the business financially, mentally or physically.
Many people have since commented saying the business will be missed, with lots saying they were the best place for gluten and dairy free food.
Their final post said:
"Thank you so very much to each and everyone for such kind words. Your messages have made a real impact and I am pleased that even at the end of this journey, we have been able to bring some joy to so many.
My heart breaks a little more with each comment but I know it is the only and right decision.
I just hope I get to see some of you in the future and wish you all my best wishes and sincere gratitude."
