The store remains shut with the premises now up for rent.

The fast food chain reopened its Ame**sbury branch** on the 9th of June but the Salisbury's High Street restaurant remains closed.

A sign has now gone up offering the building to let.

In a statement the company told Greatest Hits Radio Salisbury.

"We regularly evaluate the locations in which we bring our great-tasting products to customers. We do not currently have information to share with regards to this restaurant but we will keep you informed of further information if it becomes available."

In July the boss of the fast food chain warned it may have to shut up to 10% of it's restaurants which could lead to as many as 1,600 job losses.

Rents remained the 'decisive issue' and Alasdair Murdoch has urged the government to do more to help.
