Woman airlifted to hospital following A303 crash
The road is closed both ways

A woman has been airlifted to hospital following a serious crash between three cars and a lorry on the A303.
Wiltshire Police were called to the scene near Chicklade, at 12:15 today.
South Western Ambulance Service arrived shortly after.
The road has been closed in both directions between the A36 and A350 junctions.
A Spokesperson from Wiltshire Police said:
"Emergency services are currently in attendance and have closed the road in both directions between the junctions at Deptford (A36) and Willoughby Hedge (A350).
"We are expecting the road to remain closed for some time so would urge motorists to find alternative routes."
South Western Ambulance Service said:
"We sent numerous resources to the scene, where we were supported by police and fire service personnel.
