Drug arrests in Fordingbridge

Two people held following information from members of the public

As part of a recent focus on drug harm in the Fordingbridge area, two people have been arrested at the recreation ground for possession.

During the arrest on Friday (28 May 2021) an officer was assaulted and sustained a minor injury.

DRUGS CONCERN IN FORDINGBRIDGE

Hampshire Constabulary say the arrests form part of a recent focus on drug abuse in the town.

Their 'positive action' is done as a result of information received from members of the local community and work by New Forest wide officers.
