Hole cut in side of South Newton can with tools stolen

Wiltshire Police is now investigating the incident

A hole's been cut in the side of a van parked up in South Newton, with tools taken from inside.

The theft happened in Jubliee Terrace at some point overnight on Sunday last week, into Monday morning (24th to 25th March).

The tools stolen are thought to be worth around £1,500 in total.

Cutting equipment's believed to have been used to break into the van.

There's now an appeal for witnesses to contact Wiltshire Police with any information.
