Longleat's Land of Light event selling fast
A new light show's planned at the Wiltshire attraction for this Christmas.
The Land of Light's coming to Longleat between 7th November and the 10th January 2021.
It's replacing the Festival of Light lanterns, which have had to be postponed this year due to Covid-19.
Tickets for this year's event have now gone on sale, but the current restrictions on capacity means they're being snapped up very quickly.
Visitors can get an all-in-one ticket for the whole day, including the evening illuminations.
There's also Night Light tickets available, giving access just for the spectacle.
WHAT IS THE LAND OF LIGHT?
We're promised seven 'zones' of magical light installations around the grounds of Longleat, including a projection onto the famous house there.
It's being described as a 'spellbinding sensory walk of discovery', specially created for the site.
The Longhouse will also become a 360° infinity experience too - with floor to ceiling optical and aural experiences.
There's also a brand new activity at the event, Santa Stroytelling, giving little ones a chance to hear a festive tale from the big man himself!
FAMILIAR FEATURES RETURN
Although things will be a little different at the Longleat Christmas event this year, some aspects will remain the same.
The Santa Train is back, but the social distancing rules do mean spaces are even more limited than in previous years, so pre-booking is essential.
The huge 20 foot singing and illuminated Christmas Tree will also be up in the Stable Yard once again.

If you're an Annual Pass holder, you'll still need to reserve entry to monitor numbers.
That is also still applicable for the Annual Pass Exclusive Day, which is being held on November 6th.
