WITNESS APPEAL

There's now an investigation underway by Wiltshire Police, and they're asking witnesses to come forward, especially those with dash-cam footage.

Police say they're aware of an HGV that was just ahead of the collision and may be unaware of it, but could still help with vital information.

If you can help with any details, you're asked to call 101, quoting log number 218 of yesterday (16th December).

The road was closed for just over 10 hours to allow for collision investigators to work at the scene and for debris to be cleared.
