A bank card was used fraudulently in Salisbury, after a home in the city was burgled.

Between 2pm and 4.30pm on July 15th, a man entered a house on Wilton Road via a back window.

He stole a wallet containing bank cards and a driving licence, as well as an iPhone charger and a key card to a car.

The items were taken in a pillowcase and the offender left via the same window he entered.

He then went to Bemerton Heath Post Office and used the card twice, before it was rejected on the third attempt.

The victim was alerted to the fraudulent use and returned home to find his home had been broken in to.

Wiltshire Police have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with this incident.
