Man sustains serious eye injury after Tidworth assault

A man has sustained a serious eye injury after being assaulted in Tidworth.

At around 10pm on November 30th, a man in his 20s had been in the Royal British Legion in Pennings Road.

He was assaulted at this time and is more than likely going to need surgery.

The incident was only reported to Police this week.

Det Con Ben Brewster, from Salisbury CID, said:

“We appreciate that this incident happened a couple of weeks ago, but we believe that anyone who witnessed the attack is likely to remember it.

“If you were at the Royal British Legion on the evening of Tuesday 30 November and have any information which could assist our enquiries, then please call us.”
