Man wanted after stealing £800 worth of goods from Salisbury supermarket

The unknown man made no attempt to pay for the items

Police in Salisbury have released images of a man connected to a theft on Friday morning.

The unknown man was seen entering Waitrose in the city on CCTV, at around 8:30am, before selecting over £800 worth of items and attempting to leave without paying.

He is alleged to have then threatened staff after they stopped him.

Police are appealing for the public's help in identifying the man.
