A festive chalet's planned, to host 30 craft sellers

Salisbury's set for a return, of sorts, of a Christmas market for 2024.

A few years after the full set of festive stalls in the Guildhall Square, a chalet's planned for this Christmas, which will play host to over 30 craft sellers.

The Gift Fayre's due to be part of the Christmas in the Square event, which usually includes the popular Frost bar and some street food stalls.

More details on that are expected to be released in the coming months.

We're promised a 'unique shopping experience' under cover in the festive chalet, between Friday 22nd November and Thursday 19th December.

Cllr Sam Charleston who is Chair of the Events, Markets and Grants Sub-Committee at Salisbury City Council said:

"The Gift Fayre will be a fantastic new addition to Christmas on the Square this year and I am looking forward to picking up some Christmas gifts whilst supporting our city's amazing local makers. If you are a crafts person looking for somewhere to trade this festive season then we would like to hear from you."

The fayre's being run by Mynt Image, with sellers interested in trading there asked to contact them via their website.
