After over a week of public voting, we now know what the peregrine falcon chicks at Salisbury Cathedral will be called.

The names of the two boys and two girls, who were born earlier this year, was up to those on Facebook.

The cathedral provided a range of names to vote on, all inspired by The Queen's favourite Corgi's, in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee.

The four winning names were:

  • Noble
  • Monty
  • Willow
  • Vulcan

The chicks have already been ringed, which means that they're next step, which is to leave the nest box for the first time, should be imminent.

They will then keep returning until they are ready to fly off into the world on their own.
