Hampshire's children's hospice Naomi House and Jacksplace is calling on local runners and walkers to get out in support of them throughout March.

They're bringing back their Run 4 Respite challenge, asking people to cover 105 miles during the month, and raise £105 for the charity.

Last year's event raised a total of £38,000 towards their work with children who have life-limiting conditions and their families.

Could run run, jog or walk 105 miles through March for the cause?

The respite care that Naomi House provides means families can relax, regroup and rebalance their family life.

Charlotte Patrick, Senior Events Fundraiser, Naomi House & Jacksplace said:

“We’re delighted to see the return of Run4Respite, it was such a success last year and I was thrilled to see the local community get their trainers on to support the charity. Play activities are an important part of the hospices and by getting involved in Run 4 Respite you’re making a difference to the lives of children and young adults who visit Naomi House & Jacksplace.”

If you want to sign up to the challenge, you can register through the Naomi House website.

This is event is proudly supported by FORTH - Sam Cheeseman from there said:

“We are delighted to commit our support as the main sponsor for the Run4Respite campaign for the second year in a row. Naomi House & Jacksplace hold the hopes and fears of parents with such compassion and care that we are honoured to support them in raising funds that allow them to continue to serve in the community.”
