Help create a pollinator-friendly Test Valley Borough by joining No Mow May

Residents of Test Valley Borough have been invited to create a pollinator-friendly borough with No-Mow-May, as part of a national campaign.

People can join in by allowing stretches of land to grow wild.

Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) has already mapped out a number of green spaces and banks of urban meadows to become ‘pollinator rest stops’ by allowing those selected areas to grow wild.

No Mow May is straightforward method to help pollinators thrive, creating habitats for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

Charlotte Rimmer, countryside officer for Test Valley Borough Council, said: "No Mow May is a great way to support pollinators and make a positive impact on the environment. We would love residents to join us in this campaign and create help us pollinator-friendly habitats in their gardens and green spaces."
