Plea for more donations for Salisbury's Trussell Trust shops

Funds from goods help fight food poverty

The Trussell Trust has issued a plea for more donations to sell in its shops.

The foodbank charity is looking for a range of items from good quality clothes to books and bric-a brac which must be in a sellable conditon.

Larger electricals can't be taken.

The charity would prefer people to donate items at their warehouse, located on Churchfields Estate, which is open from Monday- Friday from 10am to 3pm.

You can bring goods to the charity's warehouse on Churchfields Industrial Estate.

Shops are quite limited to how much they can take and anyone who is donating at the Catherine Street, High Street and Bemerton Heath stores. should ring ahead.
