Salisbury Cathedral will be livestreaming the Queen's funeral on Monday (19th September).

The building will be open from 9:30am for people who wish to pay their respects, or fill out the book of condolence.

A large screen will then be set up in the Spire Crossing for members of the public to go and watch at 11am.

Seating will be available in the Nave.

The Dean of Salisbury, The Very Revd Nicholas Papadopulos said:

“Screening the funeral within this sacred space offers an opportunity for the community to gather, along with people from across the country, to seek consolation, to give thanks for all that the Queen has done for us and to remember the Royal Family at this sad time.”

All those wishing to come to the screening should enter via the North Porch.

Meanwhile, on Sunday afternoon (18th September) there is also a special service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

That starts at 4.30pm and for those unable to attend in person will also be livestreamed on the Cathedral website.
