The appeal for any information into an incident that happened on Salisbury's Hudson's Field back in May 2019 has been extended.

Anyone who can help Crimestoppers with any clues that lead to someone being convicted of the crime could stand to get a £5,000 reward for their help.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The sexual assault is reported to have happened just after midnight on Sunday 19th May 2019.

The victim, who's in her 30s, was attacked at Hudson's Field, off Castle Road.

At the same time, a travelling circus was pitched up on the site, but it's been stressed that the attacker is not believed to be a member of the circus.

An e-fit of a suspect has been released in connection with the attack (pictured above), and they're described as:

  • White
  • In his early 20s
  • Around 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall
  • Skinny build
  • Short blonde hair
  • Clean shaven
  • Wearing a light maroon coloured hoodie

Emily Van der Lely, Wiltshire & Swindon Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said:

"This horrific crime took place a while ago, but we are appealing to anyone who may have travelled to see the circus and noticed the offender or something suspicious that evening. You could be from Salisbury or from out of the area. We hope our reward encourages you to come forward to tell us what you know, 100% anonymously.

"Crimestoppers believes that everyone has the right to walk the streets safely without experiencing harm. We don't want anybody else to be assaulted by this dangerous individual. Please do the right thing and get in touch with our charity. Only you will know you contacted us."

The appeal and reward was initially launched a year to the day from the attack happening, and has now been renewed:
