A new mural will be added from next month

Salisbury's Central Car Park toilets are set to be brightened up, with the designs now chosen.

The brick building will be painted on all sides, to represent the five rivers that flow around the city, and the wildlife that lives there.

It's all part of a public art programme within the Salisbury River Park project.

Tech Moon will start work on the mural within weeks

Work on the mural will begin next month, by artist Krishna Malla, aka Tech Moon, who's from Bournemouth.

The design features some of the flora and fauna that make Salisbury's chalk streams so special, along with some of his own signature work.

Salisbury City Council and the Environment Agency picked the winning design.

It also follows work to create a mural for the Millstream Coach Park toilets too. |newtab)

Both artworks are being funded through the River Park project, which aims to improve flood defences while boosting our access to the River Avon through the city centre and up to Fisherton Recreation Ground.
