A Salisbury Reds driver is celebrating being named as the bus operator's Employee of the Year for 2023.

Tony Bush has been described as ‘reliable, hardworking and diligent in all his day-to-day duties’.

He's been presented with his award by Salisbury Reds managing director, Andrew Wickham, who said:

“Tony has worked very hard and thoroughly deserves this award. Joining Salisbury Reds in March 2005, he has served more than 18 years and is well-respected by colleagues and customers alike.

“He also acted swiftly and decisively, avoiding what could have been a serious collision when a car pulled out of a junction without warning last July. His calm and collected actions resulted in a number of commendations from customers who were on-board. They praised both his professionalism and response following the incident.

“But it’s not only this singular act that defines Tony’s selection as our Employee of the Year. His excellent conduct contributes to the success of Salisbury Reds, and we are all immensely proud of him.”

Tony's received a trophy and £500 worth of vouchers for his efforts.
