A popular, monthly event in Salisbury is returning to the city's Market Place today.

The first Salisbury Street Sellers event of the year is held today from 10am to 4pm, with the theme of 'dino-day'.

The event, organised by the City Council, features arts and crafts stalls, activities as well as food and drink vendors, with each month having a different theme..

The Market Place will be transported back to the Jurassic period with a dino-dig, workshops and a dinosaur meet and greet for children.

A couple of future themes have also been revealed, with Pet Lovers in June and Farmyard Fiesta in September.

Spaces as a stall holder are available to established traders, those with small home businesses or people with a hobby making craft items, with prices starting at £12.

Anyone wishing to be a stall holder should complete the application form on the City Council's website.
