There's an appeal for witnesses in Salisbury after a teenage girl was approached by an elderly man, alleged to be making inappropriate comments.

The incident took place yesterday (Tuesday 30th April) around 7pm on the A360 Devizes Riad near St Paul's Roundabout.

The girl, who is 15, is said to have been left 'shaken and uncomfortable' by the event.

The male is described as between 60 and 65 years old, with grey receding hair and grey stubble.

He was wearing a multi-coloured trousers and long black coat.

Police say an R1 Salisbury Reds bus was passing as the incident happened and police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to contact them.

It is also believed a similar incident took place at the same location on April 27th, where a white van stopped to check on a female.
