Teenage boy assaulted twice in Fordingbridge town centre

A 15 year boy has been punched and kicked several times in Fordingbridge town centre - with two teenagers arrested in connection with what happened.

Hampshire Police tell us this occurred between 1.30pm and 2.15pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 31st May).

The victim was verbally abused by a group of teenagers by the benches on Round Hill, outside the Salvation Army building.

He was then allegedly physically assaulted outside Tesco Express on Salisbury Street shortly afterwards, by the same group.

The lad was also assaulted at the Fordingbridge Rec, behind the club house.

Two 16 year old boys from Fordingbridge have been arrested on suspicion of assault and released on conditional bail until the end of next month.

There's now an appeal for any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward and speak to Hampshire officers.
