Wiltshire Council's changed the operating hours of the Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub.

It'll now run on weekdays but NOT at weekends.

It follows a review of the Hub's usage and the introduction of the COVID-19 Tier 2 'high' restrictions. The Wellbeing Hub remains in place from Monday to Friday for those people who may need additional support.

RESPONDING TO PANDEMIC

* The hub was originally set up in March 2020 at the start of the coronavirus pandemic

* People can call the hub Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm on 0300 003 4576

* You can email the Hub at wellbeinghub@wiltshire.gov.uk

The opening hours will continue to be regularly reviewed, and the council will notify people of any changes to these in a timely way.

SUPPORT FOR TOUGH CHRISTMAS AHEAD

Leader of Wiltshire Council, Philip Whitehead, said:

"The hub has continued to provide vital support to our communities during the past nine months. It's reassuring the hub has not been in as much demand over the weekend as that demonstrates people are getting the support they need. We know the lead up to Christmas will be particularly challenging this year, so we want to remind everyone that our team is still on hand and ready to help if you need any support or guidance."

"There is also a lot of key information about the support available on the GOV.UK website and our own web pages, that can help keep people up-to-date."

NO QUERY TOO SMALL

The Council's leader also stressed that no-one should feel they are alone or struggling at this time, and that the hub will continue to be there if people need support or comfort.

People who require help with tasks such as picking up food and other essentials, should ask friends or family or order online. If they do not have family, friends or neighbours that can help, they can contact the Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub and request help.

Many queries may also be answered at the GOV.UK COVID-19 pages or the Wiltshire Council website, where there is a wealth of information on the latest Government advice and restrictions.
