Thieves steal power cables for back-up generators in Fordingbridge
The mains electricity had already been knocked out by Storm Eunice

Local energy provider Scottish and Southern Electricity has condemned thieves for taking advantage of vulnerable people in Fordingbridge following Storm Eunice.
The company reconnected customers in town using a back-up generator after supplies were taken down by the awful weather.
Then thieves stole the cables for that generator, knocking out supplies once again.
Spokesperson for SSEN, Alexis Hall, says it's very disappointing behaviour:
"People were desperate to get their power back on, they must have been so relieved that the generator was there and supplies were back up and running again. They felt safe and warm, they were able to cook and then suddenly they were without power again as a result of someone's actions so it really is very sad."
SSEN have reported what happened to Hampshire Police.
The company has apologised to those customers in the Fordingbridge area that have been affected though.
Alexis Hall from Scottish and Southern Electricity said:
"We do apologise to those customers profusely. We're so happy to have been able to get them back on generation, and this is not how we expected things to play out for them."
