Three arrested after baby death in Salisbury

Police have arrested three people in connection with the death of a five-week-old baby in Salisbury.

The child was admitted to Salisbury District Hospital on 1st September but sadly died eight days later, on the 9th September.

Officers arrested two women aged 18 and 54, and a man aged 23 yesterday (1st November) on suspicion of murder and allowing or causing significant harm.

UPDATE

This morning (2nd November) Wiltshire Police confirmed the trio ' have now been released on bail pending further investigations.'

The force added 'our enquiries continue.'
