Two arrested on suspicion of drugs supply in Fordingbridge

Two people have been arrested by Hampshire Police on suspicion of drug supply offences in Fordingbridge.

At around 3:20pm on Thursday (28th July), officers were at an address on Waverley Road on an unrelated manner.

They were trying to speak to the occupants of the house when one officer witnessed a bag being placed on the top of a roof via an upstairs window.

In the process of this, a quantity of Class B drugs contained within a smaller bag was displaced next to the officer.

A search of the property was conducted and drug-related paraphernalia, as well as mobile devices, were located and seized as a result.

A 26-year-old man from Fordingbridge was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

A 54-year-old woman from Fordingbridge was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and permitting the use of premises for supply of a Class B drug.

They were taken to custody.
