Police appeal for witnesses following hit-and-run in Corsham

A 78-year-old was hit while crossing Pickwick Road on Friday evening.

Wiltshire police are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage after a hit-and-run in Corsham, West Wiltshire.

An elderly man was hit while crossing Pickwick Road at the junction for the Methuen Arms Public House at around 7:15pm on Friday evening (February 9th).

The 78-year-old received injuries to his ankle and cuts to his head.

The driver continued towards the mini roundabout at the junction with Newlands Road and along Pickwick Road.

It is possible the vehicle involved was an electric Peugeot 3008 in black or green, however this information has not been confirmed.
