Ten volunteers with a Wiltshire charity are in Kosovo for their final assessment to become International Response search and rescue staff.

The group with Serve On, based in Chilmark, have been training for two years to reach this point.

If they pass a five-day assessment in Eastern Europe, they'll be qualified for callouts to help in disaster zones around the world.

Over the years, Serve On's been deployed to earthquakes in places like Haiti, Turkey and Nepal - with a total 22 international missions carried out.

The current final exercise in Kosovo includes mock-up train derailments, tunnel rescues and moving heavy objects to free casualties.
